"Live On Purpose" Challenge Day 13: How are your actions contributing to the world at larg
I woke up this morning to news that the Syrian city of #Aleppo has almost been completely sieged by pro government forces. The citizens have been tweeting and taking to social media expressing their last goodbyes as they prepare to die at the hands of the militants that have taken over their city. My heart breaks for them. Google #Aleppo and you can see how dire the situation is there. That news forced me to think about how our actions contribute to the world at large and the responsibility we have to create the world we want to live in. So today's challenge isn't necessarily focused on ourselves but rather on how we move in the world and interact with others.
Today, I challenge you to do something kind for someone else with no expectations of anything in return. Maybe it's buying a stranger a cup of coffee, or offering your seat to someone on the subway, or just asking someone how they are feeling today, do something nice and ask them to pay it forward. Kindness is contagious.
