Why You Have to Change the Way You Think In Order To Change Your Reality
There is this misconception that life happens to us when the truth is we create our lives by the type of thoughts we have and the choices we make. Many of us choose to live a life of scarcity focusing on what we don’t have or what we want rather than appreciating and living in gratitude for what we do have. When you focus on what you don’t have you are inviting more of that scarceness into your life.
Years ago when I first began my journey to conceive all I could think about was that I wasn’t a mother and that I was not getting pregnant when I wanted to. The more I focused on the negative the more that manifested into my life. When I finally did get pregnant my disbelief that I actually conceived ultimately resulted in me miscarrying. Because I didn’t believe it, it didn’t manifest. It wasn’t until I shifted my thinking and began really believing that I indeed was a mother that I was able to manifest my daughters into existence.
It’s funny how the mind and the Universe work. You don’t become what you want; you become what you believe you are. The idea of “want” stems from the belief of lacking. When you believe you are lacking something that thing you “want”, will always evade you. You will always be chasing “something” and what you already have will never be enough. However, if you shift your thinking from one of lacking to one of abundance, you will realize that you already have all you need to be your best, most authentic, most successful self, equipped and armed with all of the luxuries that come with it.
Think about why you are where you are in your life. Every choice you have made in your life (whether good or bad) has led you to this exact moment in time. The choices you have made are a direct result of what you believe to be true about yourself. If you would have made a different choice at any point in your life your reality would be much different. This is why it is important to understand the magnitude of your decisions and choices.
You and only you are responsible for the outcome of your life. We each at any point in our lives have the power to change our reality by simply choosing to do so. The choice is always yours. What choices will you make today to ensure that you live your best life tomorrow?
